Below the Ground and Up: From Dirt to Ribbon Cutting – A GAD CE Event

Join us at the WeSERV Peoria office on September 13, 2023 for our all day GAD event: Below the Ground and Up: From Dirt to Ribbon Cutting. This event has been approved by Az DRE for 6 hours of continuing education credits. 3 units in disclosure and 3 units in legal issues.

It’s a full day of discussion and learning about the arc of real estate development and housing solutions.

Our day begins with Steve Matley and a discussion of entitlements and the process of taking raw land to approved project. We then listen to a panel discuss project considerations of commercial, agriculture and residential real estate project planning. Learn from a variety of real estate industry professionals about necessary financial, legal, product type and market demands to be considered in order to produce a successful project.

Our afternoon begins with a discussion focused on specific issues within agriculture, commercial and residential projects. Join Senator Sine Kerr whose family owns a dairy to learn about todays agriculture and the tech they use for efficiency and conservation. Grant Fisher, owner/developer of the VAI, and City of Glendale Economic Development will discuss how they created a relationship to help efficiently complete the VAI and meet the needs of Glendale. Our third panelist will be Steve Matley and a small builder discussing specifics of planning and building residential product for rent and for sale.

Our second afternoon panel topic will be New Build issues in residential purchase housing. Join Tim O’Neall (home inspector) and Patrick McQueen (attorney) to learn about the physical and legal issues you and your clients should be aware of in the new home building world. What should your client look for and what are their remedies for construction defect issues?

Our closing panel will be solutions within the residential housing market place you may not be aware of. Learn about new product types, ways to finance a buyer without a bank or the government and other well known, but little used housing solutions from the private sector.
