Surprise Land Use Ordinance – Update – We Need Your Input

The City of Surprise is updating its Land Use Ordinance (LDO). It may not seem like something resale agents need to be interested in, but this code will result in saleable or unsaleable housing products over the next 50 years.

The City has reached out to WeSERV asking for our help. They would like input on the portions of the plan already drafted.

Community Pools will be discussed on September 3rd at 6pm at the Planning and Zoning (P&Z) meeting. This is your chance to weigh in on housing choices your clients will have now and into the future.

September 14th there will be a discussion with stakeholders on community pools and the narrow lot subdivision development standards.

Please help provide feedback to the City on these and upcoming proposed changes to the Land Use Code. You can call or email to learn how you can be a part of the Surprise Team. Most communication is completed through emails and questionnaires.

If you would like to know more and attend stakeholder meetings, please let me know.
