The City of Surprise has water saving rebates for residents and businesses.
1 – From August 2022 to April 30, 2023, residents of single family homes who remove turf can apply to receive 50 cents per square foot of removed turf, up to $500. The project must be completed by April 30, 2023 and applied for by March 31, 2023.
2 – Surprise water customers who purchase and install a WaterSense irrigation controller may be eligible for a $125 credit. This offer applies to residents, HOAs, schools, multifamily and commercial properties.
3 – Buyers of new single family homes, built within the past two years may be able to receive up to $200 to xeriscape their homes. Residents must apply to the program and the landscaping must be installed by April 30, 2023.
