On the main Economic and Cultural Vitality dashboard page you will see easily understood statistics and charts. Also there, is a direct link to all the city business permits by month and year.
In July 2022 the city saw 63 new businesses permitted. Only three were restaurants, 31 are related in some way to building services and trades.
A quick glance at business permits over the past 6 months shows Surprise is permitting 60 or more new businesses each month.
